... i wanna listen to Get Over It!
i wish i could listen to this CD but i don't have it. . i think the only reason i would buy it though is to listen to get over it. . . which i really wanna hear because ive read the lyrics online and listened to some like piano version of it or w/e . . . it just sounds like a really good song to me. the reason i question buying this CD is because i already have sk8er boi and nobodys fool on let go to listen to. . . but i really wanna hear get over it. if anyone knows of some way online or something to listen to that song please write a review on where u can!!! thanks.


Avril rocks!!


Get Over It- Ha!! That's an awesome title. My Review:

Sk8er Boi- It's a weird way to spell it, but the songs catchy, and who can't help but love it? It's totally rock, and that's what I like. The song totally rules, the chorus is amazing, the verses are great, the song totally connects and works so well.

Nobody's Fool(live)- I like the fact that she includes some live songs and unreleased songs, some artists just put the same songs again from the album, or remixes(which normally suck). This is better on the album, but it still rules because it's Avril!!

This is great for Avril fans, definitely get it!!.


Angry young girl, please stop not punk
I give her credit for writing own songs but lets face it this is uppity pop music. This is the perfect example of a bunch of rich, corporate old men in Brooks Brothers suits sit at a table knowing nothing about real music with an idea to make millions. To call Avril Lavigne punk is to call Sex Pistols classical music. Don't get me wrong I'm not into labeling but a spade is a spade. I'm not knocking her individually or her music but come on executives marketed her look and made millions off exploitation. I saw in a mag I think it was SPIN Avril with a Sex Pistols t-shirt on. It was sad Avril wasn't even born when SP was in their hell raising heyday. Avril stick to the hard pop girl u rock but not punk in any sense of the word. I gave her 2 stars because she does write her own music for most part. Which is more than I can say for a Britney debut album.

the b-side "Get Over It" is awesome. although sk8er boy isn't my favorite avril song, i still think it deserves its own cd. the ochestral piece at the beginning is just awe-inspiring. i would give this a 3. 5, but it's not possible. skater boy gets QUITE irritating after constantly hearing it on muchmusic, mtv, and the radio. i think avril would have more fans if she wasn't so overproduced. i mean, i still like her and everything, her cd is probably one of the only cds i can listen through the whole thing. . . . i'm still doing so now, and it's been over a year since Let Go came out. but im just saying, i think if avril didn't release this song as her second single, and they didn't constantly play it, she would attract more people. i personally can't wait for her new album to come out! . . . which i heard might come out in febuary 2004! and hopefully will have more songs like "Losing Grip" and "Unwanted".

so if u listened to let go, and want more, i suggest u get "skater boy" and "complicated" because both have a few new songs in them.


This CD is quite good.
"Sk8er Boi" is a great song that tells a story, and "Get Over It" is a nice song with a catchy tune. I really do enjoy listening to this CD. However, I give this CD only 4 stars because of the live version of "Nobody's Fool" that's on it. The version of that song on "Let Go" is great, but I despise this version because. . . Avril's live voice [is terrible]. But I still recommend this CD, it's good. The Sk8er Boi video makes up for the bad version of Nobody's Fool.
