Fun, but a bit too rough for pop radio
Comes from that, is a fun rock song called "Losing Grip". "Let Go" is hands-down, one of my favorite albums of all time. It's a little rougher from what Avril usually releases as CD singles. Yes, it's a fun, very catchy, teen-rock-somewhat-pop-but-not-really-considered-pop song.

Here's the problem with this single. Pop radio (which is where her songs are mainly played) will not play this song often, because it's too rock for pop radio.

Yes, it did get some spins on pop radio, and maybe (on some) alternative rock stations played it, but radio didn't like it, because it's too hard for pop, but it's too soft for rock.


Terrible single from a terrible singer
Avril has got to be THE worst singer out there! She can't even play guitar! I better I'M a better guitarist than her, and i'm still taking lessons! Listen to Dream Theater, Van Halen, Sepultura(old), Slayer, and Megadeth if ya wanna hear great guitar work!.


purest pretencious crap out there
I would not even have given this a one but since you have to rate it to write a review well. . . SHE SUCKS A*S. Please dont waste your money. If you like pop then go right ahead and throw your money down the drain. But dont let her cheap facade fool you. There is nothing even remotely rock about this chick. I was so disappointed to see men giving her 4 stars for this album. I would think girls might like this BS( hell i'm a girl and i dont like it).

Her lyrics sound like they were written by a 10 year old. There is just no depth to her song. First thing you learn as a writer of any kind is write what you know about and this girl just has no idea about relationships so what is she whining about. She probably doesn't even dress herself. She is a poser who pretends to sing punk rock but believe me she doesn't. Her music is so shallow and there is just no emotion. And to think that she has somebody who co-writes her music. . . . ! Now Britney Spears sucks but at least AT LEAST she doesn't pretend to sing something else and she doesn't pretend to have any talent (which she doesnt0 unlike Lavigne who criticizes pop princesses when she is just like them. She is like Kelly Osbourne. Pop chicks pretending to be something they're not.

This is by far my favorite song on the album, she rocks!!!.
