Find Out Who Your Friends Are

Rejane
. If I only had this album to judge by I'd probably never buy any more Tracy Lawrence albums but I LOVED the song Find Out who Your Friends Are, the rest of the album leaves me cold.

My husband and I love Tracy Lawrence and we were so excited to buy his new cd, it's great!!.

LOVE THIS CD!
Love every song! When I first got it, I couldn't stop listening to it for months. What a great CD.

About Time
Mark Chesnutt tried, did alright, aint heard nothin from Tracy Byrd, Toby Keith's doin good, but he's kinda sold out to this new mess too along with Brooks and Dunn. Seems like with all this "new country" the true Honky Tonkers from the 90's have gone from stadiums to county fairs, and are just trying to make a splash, aside from Alan Jackson. Finally, one of the genuine jukebox junkies has made a comeback, and I'm glad that it was my favorite, Tracy Lawrence. I had to honor of goin to Tracy's fan club party last year, he's without a doubt the nicest person I've ever met, and I when I told him that I sing in some country dance halls in my hometown, he talked to me for 10 minutes about my influences. Of course, he's my #1 but he and I have alot of the same ones. George Jones, Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard. This album shows it. I once read where Tim McGraw stated that Keith Whitley was his #1 influence, and listenin to his albums you can't really tell. "For the Love" sounds so much like the "Alibis" era of Tracy, which I love. "Just Like Her" is a great two stepper if you ask me, a little fast but great. "Just Like That" is a very good Saturday night Honky Tonker's anthem. "Rock and a Soft Place" is very very well done. Don't even get me started on "Speed of Flight" I could go on all day about how great that one is. This album is true Country gold. And notice, I said COUNTRY gold.

The way country music used to be in the 90's
I had only heard of one of the songs because I no longer listen to country music on the radio. I see why this CD has been rated so high. There is not a bad song on this CD. This is what country music sounded like in the 1990's when it peaked. .
