Customer Review Robert Johnson's equal! In my opinion,these recording,also done in the 30's,are every bit as good as Robert Johnson's recordings ,but different because Leadbelly's style leans more towards the older Songster Tradition that predates Country Blues. I brought this CD in a Half Price Book store in the cutout bin and it's one of my favorite Country Blues CD. A classic Country Blues collection!. .
