Live in studio Zep, tasty variations from the record versions
Unbelievable classics. I love the first two Zep albums. I was lucky enough to see them 1971 before the 3rd lp came out. They previewed it live, Page using his bow, Plant having his quintessinal lead vocalist stage presence. Nuttin' like Zep live. This BBC material is really live in the studio and as such it's classic songs from the albums but presented with a live flavor and therefore, as Led Zeppelin would do, not performed the same as their album tracks. Very enjoyable cds. Worth the investment. In fact, if you were looking for something besides the studio tracks off the albums and wondered about what live material to get, this is a cost efficient one to buy. I also liked How the West Was Won, more excellent live and, of course, in that case with an arena audience.

Led Zeppelin BBC Sessions
As a avid follower of these guys I would have to say that this recording really shows the deep improv skills of these great musicians. I think I pretty much have all the recorded history of this great band. . . . For people who think that they know what Zeppelin is all about give this a listen. . . . This is Led Zeppelin in the raw. . . . Charming, delightful, full of soul. For my taste this is a prime cut. . . Everyone should own this album first.

Led Zeppelin BBC Sessions 2 Discs Set Live CDs
So, let it be. If I say something about Led Zeppelin, that would be too naive to trying to explain the luminosity in front of the prodigal sun. The songs are completely breakthrough. Got jams, blues, rock n roll, hard rock, sessions everything. The cds runs perfect. No scratches on cds, no pauses or any kind of disturbances during the whole 160 mins of play.

Young Zep ~ Fantastic!
If you are looking for a "new" or a little different Led Zep sound than the usual studio tracks ~ this is it!! I do wish the first CD was in stereo, but it still sounds absolutely FANTASTIC!! :). I had ordered this without really hearing any of the songs! It is great! A very young Led Zeppelin sound - some songs are very raw & exciting in the way they are preformed! A lot of favorite songs on these CDs, but some are just done in a different way than I had heard them before!! Just another FANTASTIC LED ZEP EXPERIENCE!! Could never say enough about this band, I feel they are the BEST ever.

olde
I listened to it, and was immediately reminded of the heady days back in the late 60's and early 70's when I "rocked" to these tunes. This album was ordered for a friend, but he couldn't use it. Unfortunately, most of them have aged worse than I believe I have.
