What can I say, it's LED ZEPPELIN
When I was a kid growing up in the 70's and 80's, there were only 2 bands that I owned every single vinyl LP of, they were Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. I just got this box set recently and I'm really pleased with it. I had sold off all my vinyl albums many, many years ago, so it brought back a lot of good memories to see these Zeppelin cd's packaged exactly the way I remember them (although in smaller form). And since I also own "Oh By the Way" by Pink Floyd (which also has their entire catalogue in "mini-LP" form), I'm content with life.

It appears the CD's here are the same as the Japanese imports, as they still have the Japanese characters printed on the wrapping of the cd's.

If I had to list any negatives, I'd say there's a bit of overkill with the 5 extra "In Through the Out Door" covers and the extra "Led Zeppelin I" cover. Okay, so instead of orange ink, they used blue ink. I didn't really need it. It would have been nice if they had included "How the West Was Won" and "BBC Sessions" instead of those empty CD holders. Then you'd really have the complete LZ.

The music, of course, is awesome. Led Zeppelin really doesn't have a weak track in their entire catalogue. It's well worth the $150. At most other other stores, this box runs around $200+. You also get the new version of "The Song Remains the Same" and an extended "Coda", so that's a bonus too.

Shredded. What an amazing set! The mini-lp covers brought tears to my eyes-had all the original LP's, but if you're a cat-lover and you kept the LP's down low, you know what happened. The re-mix is impressive, and I am so happy I decided to fork out for a set, because this is the one. Chill bump creating for a seventies hippie-child.

Definitive CollectionLed Zep Box Set
The sound is an improvement over the early 90's box sets. At $100 I couldn't resist. Everything has more presence. But I do think it all depends on how insane you get about sound. The mini lp cases are a lot of fun. They really did a nice job.

They were great. I knew I'd like the collection but the price was so inexpensive, I worried about the seller. It came in excellent condition and faster than I expected. At the same time I ordered this, I also ordered 2 other CDs from the same seller. Everything was perfect. I would use them again anytime.
