A taster Some may feel it lacks at least one Premonition (not sure if I can describe one accurately)the longer ,weirder soundscapes side of the band but what you do get is pretty wonderful. I have to agree with the other reviewers here, this is a pretty good place to start with the Dots, although I dont actually own this disc I do know all the tunes and this is a great selection. The danger for the obsessives amongst us (who me ?) is that after hearing this we will want ALL the Dots we can get our hands on. But if that happens you can always give this disc to a deserving friend and set them on the path too. Enjoy . a good place to start It covers many diffrent forms of music they are best known for. This antholagy is a great way to lern more about the pink dots. Everything from goth to electronic to space rock. If your looking for an album by the pink dots-grab this one Trust me!!!!. if you are a new legendary fan real fans knows it's immpossible because of the great variety of music styles: gothic, electric and even jazz. this a collection that tries to summery the long activity of the dots. never the less if you are just beginning to know the dots this is the dist for you. a taste from each record which leave you with a urge for more. and there is so much more.
