Customer Review Pied Pipers Is Right! There is a heck of alot more to the Lemon Pipers than just 'Green Tambourine'. I bought these LP's on vinyl through garage sales years ago and I was quite impressed with them. Songs like 'Jelly Jungle' and 'Ask Me If I Care' are wonderful tracks that, when you close your eyes, bring you back to the summer of love. One of the greatest songs never heard is "Rainbow Tree". Originally released on the 'Green Tambourine' album, it also ended up as the flip side to the rather not so good rendition of 'I Was Not Born To Follow' (The Byrds did it better). Such a lovely melody with psychedelic lyrics that take you 'flying high above the cotton sky'. Mind you, these albums aren't without a few klinkers. The marathon tracks 'Through With You' & 'Dead End Street-Half Light' are horrible. Regardless, either check out this disc or better yet, pick up one of the many Lemon Pipers best of's. It will not only fill a major void in your collection but will surely put a colorful smile upon your already happy face. . .
