WAY short on music...questionable production.
However, they decided to put only 10 songs on each disc of this compilation. Nearly all of these songs could have fit onto one CD. Whenever you see a "box set" that has very few tracks on each disc, you should usually run, because it is not a collection assembled by the original label, and usually has shoddy production. This is no different. The song choices are ok, but it's far overpriced for the amount of music you get. It's also questionable where these masters were obtained, since Yoko has a pretty tight control on the release of her husband's music.

For an alternative, either get the remastered albums individually, or Working Hero: Definitive John Lennon Collection. It has fewer discs, but MORE MUSIC, is a remastered and authorized collection, and it COSTS LESS than this one. Don't be duped by the other fanboy review. Get a quality product at a great price, not this overpriced monstrosity.


Great Compilation & Sound Quality is Awesome!
All you people who have been stuck inside your iPods for too long, either put on your Vinyl or at the Least listen from a CD. I really LOVE this Compilation! I take it with me and play it wherever I am. Great Mastering on this collection. Just great-great-great-great-great! .
