little bird by Annie lennoxcan anyone help me get this record.
Totally Little Bird!
Nice cover photo. Good remixes. A great addition to my Annie Lennox CD collection. Too bad there weren't a couple more alternative mixes or something really dancy. I kind of wish that there was a "Thunderpuss 2000" mix of some kind on it.
The Utah Saints version is great. I like the way the "layering" of Annie's vocals is done. Great offbeat mixing sound too!
What appealed to me the most is the single version of Little Bird. Why? Well, every time I went to the bar, they would play this one. I always requested it to the dj. Each time he played it. The song automatically filled the dance floor with no questions asked. After each time of hearing it, I wanted to get my hands on the copy. Everything is great about this song. I like the "ba da da da da da da" at the end, when Annie sings "my my, I feel so low, my my. . . ". Great layering of vocals.
The single "Lovesong for a vampire" is gorgeous. Really slow, and soulful. You get to hear a lot of feeling in Annie's voice here. I think this track should be classified as either the pre-quel or the sequel to Annie's single "Why".
Go and get it, no matter how you have to!.
