Action-Packed Jerry Lee Lewis Live! Most of the songs are fast-paced "action" type instead of his slower (country-style) music. This CD is the finest Jerry Lee Lewis performance out of all of the CDs and video cassette tapes that I have of him. This is a must for any fan/collector of JLL. Hopefully more CDs of this quality will be available by Jerry Lee soon.
Great Live Album! Next best thing to being there!
A great live set - reflecting JLL current stage show. This is the next best thing to being there. If you are looking for a recent concert CD for your collection this is great. If you just want the hits or one JLL album take one of the Greatest Hits package. One for the JLL collector rather than the occasional listener.
A superb live Jerry Lee Lewis album.
The album was originally recorded at the now defunct "Gilley's" bar in Texas during the late 70's throughout the 80's (Mickey Gilley is JLL's cousin). I purchased this album about a month ago, and I can honestly say this is one of the finest recently released JLL albums to date. The album contains a majority of JLL standards, and a rocking version of Chuck Berry's, "Memphis, Tennessee. " If you like JLL, and especially his live act, you will love this album. Listen to it!.
