Lit's album kicks @ssd. I really enjoy that c. by lit,it is an awesome album of 2001 and I bought it at the record store. My favorite band member of lit is a. jay because he can sing good and he is soooo hot. My favorite songs are addicted, lipstick and bruises, happy in the meantime, everything's cool, next time around and over my head which is the bonus track of that album. It also comes with an extra c. d. with 3 songs and lit's video four which I can play it on the computer and a. jay is lookin extremely hot in that video. I'm sure that lit will have an album out soon because I like their music and I really like a. jay.
It was good, but dosnt live up to "APITS" or "TTLF"
They are somewhat known as pop-punk, but bring more alt-rock to their sound than pop-punk. I happen to think Lit is an awesome band. Though I did really like "Atomic" I just can't help realizing how much more pop-punk they got. The album starts off great with the alt-rock song "Something to Someone" But from there it goes into like a popish type boy-band. While the songs are still catchy, this album still can't live up to "A PLace In The Sun" or even the incredibly underrated debut album "Tripping The Light Fantastic". Still worth the money though.
THIS CD ROCKS
i got it and just pressed play, i was so happy with it! if you like to not be disapointed by bands, n u liked the first one, this one will rock ur world. after loving Lit's first CD, i saw this in the store, and had heard the new single, and i had to have it. it kicks . . . !.
An excellent CD
Some CDs have one or two good songs on them. I own many CDs and this is one of the few that I enjoy listening to the whole CD. With Atomic, I get in the car, put the CD in the player, press play, and drive. I look forward to Lit's next album.
Lit is back, but is this their greatest?
Plus bassist Kevin Baldes lived only a street away from my dad. I will agree with some people that this is the best Lit album but, I think that nothing can change "A Place In The Sun" from being the GREATEST! My dad introduced me to these guys in '99. That's how my dad heard about these guys, plus his niece introduced them to him. But anyway, enough of the reasons how I got into these guys. I saw Lit in concert with No Doubt in August of 2000 and they rock live! They said that they were working on a new album, but it took a year to come out! I love these guys! They are the best bubble-gum rock group out there. This music always makes me happy! I have all 3 albums, . . . [the first one] is terrible. Its just not as great. They improved on A Place In The Sun, and now they are new and improved on "Atomic"! I got this CD the day it came out and I just cranked this thing up and rocked out to it. The CD sampler isn't much to talk about besides the fact that it has Lit performing "Four" from A Place In The Sun live. I was actually shocked that Lit was on 2 (2!) soundtracks this year. The song "Everything's Cool" was on "Orange County: The Soundtrack" and "Happy In The Meantime" is on the "Mr. Deeds" soundtrack. Both of those songs is on this CD. "HITM" on the Mr. Deeds soundtrack was actually a remix, but I haven't noticed a difference. I think this is one of the best songs on the soundtrack. Lit is what I would like to call "college dorm room music". It's party music really. Most of the songs are about partying at night and the morning after. But hey, these guys rock! Check this CD out. Buy "A Place In The Sun" with this. But spare yourself the pain of "Tripping The Light Fantastic" it really [is bad]!.
