Faking it? If that's the case, Amazon should have made that clear when I purchased this. We think that this may not have been an original CD but rather a repackaging of MP3's. I might have looked a little further to find an original.
Lowell George Would Be Proud
The truth is, the band features many longtime members in its reunion incarnation, including guitarist-singer Paul Barrere, and with slide guitarist Fred Tackett and percussionist Sam Clayton, as well as originals Bill Payne (keyboards) and Richie Hayward (drums), in tow, you get a great recreation of the classic Little Feat sound and style. Some people claimed that, with Lowell George having died in 1979, Little Feat had no right to reunite in 1988, but their complaining should get them beds in community residences for the mentally ill. In addition, singer-guitarist Craig Fuller does a great approximation of George's vocal style. As a result, this is a record that George would be proud of, so all of the complaining was unjustified.
Great CD
The CD is in my player and I listen to everyday. Little Feat is a great group that made some wonderful music.
Little Feat from a modern perspective.
These boys are great musicians. I think kids today are missing out on great music such as this, because it is not hot or new. I have been a fan for years, and I love the unique sound they produce. Everyone I think would benefit from a serving of "Dixie Chicken" every now and then. "Let it Roll" and turn it up.
