All Country Should Be Like This
My (Native American) father played drums in a country western band before the drums were popular with country fans. I was raised in a country western music household. He was very dismayed that I preferred Rock. Many years later, my wife dragged me to a live Xmas show at the Fox in Detroit featuring Lonestar. They were promoting this album. I was prepared to be bored but in the spirit of Xmas, I was willing to fake my pleasure at being at a country show. Boy, was I shocked! This is a band that could play any kind of music. The vocalist (Ritchie) had amazing range in his voice. He actually sounded better live than on CD. I (we) now own nearly all of the Lonestar CDs. I still don't listen to much country. But to those who can enjoy all types of music (like myself), must check out this band, especially this album. .

Lonestar is always there
every time I hear this CD it hits home on a lot of aspects, it is good music to relate to.

Copies Amazed power-ballad success way too much
I'm Already There and Not A Day Goes By suffers from "Amazed" syndrome. Lonestar didn't really surprise me with their 2001 effort. Amazed's 1999 multi-format mega success is spread all over this album, their wanting to sound like every '80s heavy metal band power ballad. Did they listen to Monster Ballads 2 too much while making this album in Nashville? I'm Already There comes off as very Diane Warren-ish in its sappy lyrics. Their wanting to be diverse as a country band is okay, but these songs don't work for them. These songs are just complete fluff and their other songs are far better than this. .

Its an album which i can relate to when i listen to a song
its the kind of album where when you listen to each other a memory in your past or present comes to you and thats a amazing for a band to do that with a whole album. Every song on this album I can relate to. I'm 16 and most people cant believe i like lonestar but their one of my favourite groups and their best ones are "i'm already there" and "Not a day goes by".

Great!!
Upbeat. . excellent songs. . . excellent group. . . this one is . 5 points better than the last one. . . if they had . 5 points to give! Go buy this album, you should not be disappointed!!.
