Total WASTE
DO NOT waste your money like i did. There truly are NO redeeming songs on this poo-poo platter album. It obviously took LFB a few years to make their music work. Listening to this album leaves one AMAZED as to how much LFB has evolved. they used to be REALLY terrible. Don't believe me? Then go ahead and throw away your money on this album. I wish someone would have warned me against it. i hate wasting money.

there is a goal and it is in this CD
You should buy it. It is great.

Musicians grow...
My reaction is not anywhere close to negative. I have been reading reviews of this album and "Fabulosos Calavera", and while most were positive, I've noticed a great deal of negative reaction to the change in Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. I think this CD is brilliant, from the infectious rhythym of "La Vida" all the way to the sad piano of "Alamo". We can't expect the Cadillacs to forever be stuck in the Ska mold. They're artists, and artists grow and change. They draw on the other great musical influences in their lives. This CD is somewhat mellow overall, but still has great power, and an excellent example of that power is track 6, "Pirana, todos los Argentinos somos DT". Vicentico's voice is amazing on the slower tracks "Roble" and "Aguila", Flavio's incredible talent shows in his basslines on "57 Almas", and I believe "Los Condenaditos" is one of their best songs ever. I can't imagine going more than a day or two without hearing this CD from start to finish. I feel that the Cadillacs are, without a doubt, still the best Rock en Espanol band around.
To sum up, I think if you are a true Cadillacs fan, you'll accept and love the band for all their changes, and maybe you'll grow musically, too. That's what it's all about.

THE BEST LATIN ROCK GROUP IN EXISTENCE
This is a group whose talents can rival such acts as U2 and REM. Although as a whole, this is not there best work, there are some songs that are utter masterpieces. The singer's voice is not as irritating as Cafe Tacuba and shows more passion in his songs than most other artists. Don't get me wrong, Cafe Tacuba is an awesome band, but this is a CD that proves that Los Cadillacs son los mejores del rock latino. Although they could have eliminated the instrumentals and track 10, this CD makes up for it in other songs.

Struggling...
This album is growing on me. . slowly. I do believe we need to give artists support to grow and change. However, as much as I love L. F. B. , I find myself wishing they had made the transition a little less 'bumpy'. Also, I think some of the cuts would have been better just left out. I will hope they don't stray quite so far from some of their earlier work on their next album. . . or at least give us a smaller sampling of changes to come. They are one of my favourite groups, and I am a non-Spanish speaking Canadian! I will keep my fingers crossed that the next album is a little truer to the previous albums that I love so much. . . while also trying to do them the honour of keeping an open mind.
