Customer Review A collection of great magnum songs from 70`ies and 80`ies Magnum was one of the first rock band i startet to listen to. I startet to listen to magnum when i was a teenager and have since then been a lojalty magnum fan. It`s nice too have all this great songs collectet on this two cd`s. I don`t have to bother to look after each and each magnum cd to find the right track to listen to. They`re all here and i don`t have to waste time to change cd for each new track who is on another cd, becuse it`s all here in this two cd`s. This collection contains 37 tracks, all are great if you like rock with prog-rock influences. There are some studio and some live tracks of some of the songs, and it`s just great to hear both versions. Live versions are often more hard and without all the studio subtlety, but with other great effects. It`s strong material all of it. The track are from this records: Kingdom of madness, Magnum 2, Maurauder, Chase the dragon and eleventh hour. Magnum in the period of 1978 to 1983, before their commersial turningpoint in their career,who come after A storytellers night in 1984. A great record but another Magnum compared to this early records. They becomme more and more commerse on their later album than they seemed on this early days. On this early records they seemed more tru to their roots. Great songs on this collection is: Kingdom of madness studio and live version. In the beginning studio and live version. Foolish heart studio and live version. Great adventure studio and live version. Invasion live version. Soldiers of the line live version. Lords of chaos live version. The battle studio version. If i could live forever studio version. The spirit studio version. The teacher studio version. The prize studio version. Road to paradise studio version. I think this is the greatest track in this collection. If you not are well known with Magnum`s music but are corously, this collection is great to start with because you get every high lights from this time of their career her.
