Ultimate Mancini CD Review
It would be nice to see a couple of new digital recordings of Henry Mancini's compositions--especially without vocals. Henry Mancini composed many beautiful themes for movies; however, it appears that many of his CDs contain the same themes.

I have been playing Ultimate Mancini everyday since it has arrived. He was a musical genius and Monica mancini's voice is so pleasant to listen to. Will definitely be playing this forever. . . . . . Winerose.

WHERE ARE THE ARABESQUE AND TOUCH OF EVIL THEMES?
However,instead of having THE PINK PANTHER THEME and the PETER GUNN THEME, which are on all previous MANCINI bests of,it would have been nice to have the ARABESQUE and TOUCH OF EVIL themes which belongs to the ultimate collection. I actually bought this to have the two tracks from THE THORN BIRDS ,so i was not disappointed. It is hard to judge this record,especially if you are a die hard fan like me. Like MORRICONE and BARRY,HENRY MANCINI is a legend who i think deserves a 2cd set only for his instrumentals works alone. The best MANCINI sampler on a single disc for me are ALL TIME GREATEST HITS VOLUME 1 ,which includes 3 titles not compose by him and THE MUSIC OF HENRY MANCINI, which includes wonderful renditions of his songs from ANDY WILLIAMS,JOHNNY MATHIS and PATTI PAGE. Look out for those two.
