HELP! Need to purchase this CD
Could anyone please help me? Thanks heaps!. I live in Jakarta Indonesia and I found it's hard to get the product sellers (from Amazon) to send the item to my country.

What a find!
I am trying to remember why I never knew about this cd in 1989. I have just received this cd and I am blown away! This has to be some of the best songs he has ever recorded. Barry's deliverance of a song is unmatchable. The very 1st song "Pleased don't be Scared" is incredible. Also "The one that got Away" is absoloutely a hit. I have to wonder if this cd was properly promoted by Arista in 1989. I am glad I finally discovered it and thank you to Amazon for suggesting it. Get this cd. If you are a Manilow fan you will not be dissapointed!.

Beautiful Barry Musik
Some of them were new to me. This is one drop-dead gorgeous album! Jesus! I love it! Don't get me wrong, I love all of Barry's music, but this one is superb! There are such beautiful songs on it. It is not the standard Barry songs that he is most famous for.

"Please Don't Be Scared" is on a couple of my other CDs and is beautiful.
"Keep Each Other Warm" is one of my all time favorites and is a beautiful song to play at a wedding ceremony.
"The One That Got Away" God! I LOVE the music track on this one. It just GETS ME!--BIG TIME!
"A Little Traveling Music, Please" is on one or two other CDs/DVDs.
"Some Good Things Never Last" is beautiful and solo'd by Barry this time. I've also heard it in duet, with Debra Byrd, I think, on another Barry CD.

Others beauties include:
"Once And For All"--Nice.
"When The Good Times Come Again"--Oh, God! I LOVE it!
"In Another World"--Oh God! I LOVE it 2!
"You Begin Again"--Nice.
"My Moonlight Memories Of You"--Oh, God! I LOVE it 3!
"Anyone Can Do The Heartbreak"--Nice.

Barry has some truly beautiful songs and fascinating melodies that he's recorded that most of the world probably never hears, but they are there for the listening. Personally, I'm on a quest to find these not-so-famous Barry songs. This is a great CD of not-so-famous Barry recordings and they are just FANTASTIC! Every Barry song I find just adds to my library of beautiful music. Jesus! Just give me a Manilow drip! (You know--like an I V) I no longer breathe air; I breathe MANILOW!

This album is slower songs, and I have to honestly say that out of all 30 or 40 Manilow albums I have, this is probably the most BEAUTIFUL. When I listen to this album, I feel like I just melted into a little bubbling pile of goo. This is Manilow Mood Musik at its finest!

Just a little itty-bitty update: I just got back from 15 days touring the Canadian Rockies between Calgary and Vancouver, Canada. That was probably the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. I took all 40 (now 41) of my Barry CDs with me on The Gizmo (my MP3 player), but guess which CD I played on the bus EVERY single day??? This album is addictive! (and the "Summer of '78" is also pretty addictive too. ) and so is. . . oh heck. . . I'm going to bed. It's after midnight! Goodnight.

Or, should I say "Gooday," as they say in Australia. (since it's after 12--get it?)

Barry Manilow - Barry Manilow
I was a fan 35 years ago, and I still am today. His songs never grow old. He gets better all the time. This is a great cd. I love all the songs.

A Great Pop cd
"You Begin Again" is beautiful, and 'The One That Got Away' has a Phil Spector sound to it, 'Please Don't Be Scared' one of Barry's most intimate vocals, 'Some Good Things Never Lasts'(also recorded by Barbra Streisand)is a song that really touched me, 'A Little Travelling Music, Please' has a great arrangement, one of the best songs Barry has ever recorded!, this is another great cd in the Barry Manilow catalog!. Barry's wonderful voice delivers on this great set of pop ballads and mid-tempo songs.
