CYBERPUNK/INDUSTRIAL ROCK
He does and says whatever he wants. Marilyn Manson is the rockstar we all wish we could be. . . whenever he wants. This album is loaded with fantastic and confrontational lyrics and hard hitting industrial beats all put nicely to a pseudo "rap" cyberpunk approach. A fun and outrageous endeavor. . . . awesome album indeed MR. Manson.


3rd Best !! I guess.
" This one has grown on me so that I enjoy it more and more. Love the Manson man! Got everything but "Portrait. I liked it on the first go through, and I like it even MORE, now that I've listened a number of times. "New Sh*#" and "Mobscene" are terrific songs, love 'em, but there are a lot of great tracks. Largely, I like all of the songs, with the slow/ballad-type songs not being listened to as much. Manson is a treasure. The Antidote to Pollyanna self-help world. I'd know. I was a once-upon-a-time "think positive," "self-help" junkie! Cheers!
(PS--now going to go give High End of Low some more listens and see if it grows on me. )
(PPS--oh, for me, 1st is Antichrist Superstar, then "Holy Wood". ).


A Big Improvement!!!
Still, my two favorite Manson Cds are Eat Me, Drink Me, and Lest We Forget! If you are a goth and love Marilyn Manson, you'll love THE GOLDEN AGE OF GROTESQUE!!!. This is my 9th Marilyn Manson CD and it's a lot better than others! My favorite songs are This is the New S**t, Mobscene, Use Your Fist And Not Your Mouth, Doll-Dagga Buzz-Buzz Ziggety-Zag, and Para-noir.


One of Manson's best!
Great solid album from Manson, this is right up there with Holywood & Anti-Christ! ROCK ON MANSON!!!.


Crazy
It is much more enjoyable than his newest disk. This is the MM that the public hates! Just my taste. .
