Not The Worst, But COmpared To Heaven Shall Burn.....When We Are Gathered It Fails For marduk fans only if your new go with heaven shall burn. Alright, I Think If Morgan "evil" (As He's Dubbed Himself) Had A Different Line Up This Might Have Worked Out Better, But Sadly There Vocalist Is A Weak Legion (I Havent Herd Morttius Or The Other Guy Yet), there's nothing wrong with this cd it just sounds tame compared to other stuff.
God like black metal
The production is a lot rawer, and their music is a lot more symplistic then their latest stuff. This is Marduk's first release and it has a lot more of an old-school black metal sound to it. I bet any fan of Darkthrone would like this album. Although Marduk has a lot better albums out there (Heaven Shall Burn. . . When We are Gathered, Nightwing, Opus Nocturne) any hardcore fan of Marduk should definitely pick this up. The best song on this album is "Still . . . . Dead (Here's No Peace)". Other good black metal bands are: Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Darkthrone, Dark Funeral.
First full length Marduk-album
This isn't because they didn't want to play fast, they were just not good enough to play any faster back then. This was the first full-length Marduk-album, and also the slowest one. What they could do was write songs. Not as good as later albums like "Nightwing" or "Live in Germania", but good for the fans.
Boy Black Metal Is So Origianl
Come On Kids Isn't It Time To Grow Up A Little. Garbage Pure Garbage,Buy one Satan Rocks And You Bought Them All.
