What Can You Say About Talented Proggers?
Steve just gets better every year like good Spanish "Tempranillo" wine. This is an excellent "live" CD.

Wow!!!
Every second makes you feel you are right there. This is absolutely the best "live" cd ever. The songs speak for themselves but for the uninitiated this is a perfect time to discover a great band in peak "live" form. I have 2cd version but either way you won't go wrong! Coldplay and Radiohead fans needing a new band to seek their teeth into get this NOW!!!!!.

Live anoraks!
I have a feeling it was recorded in concerts that had fewer fans than the previous two albums, but you wouldn't know it from the crowd's intensity and the band's performances (it's recorded from more than one concert). This is Marillion's third live album, and second with h on vocals ('The thieving magpie' and 'Made again').

This, however, is the single CD version. . . you need to go to marillion. com and get the DOUBLE CD version (get them while they last, folks!). It's much better, including an intro and 8 more tracks, and set in a different order (Rich, Man of a thousand faces, Go!, Afraid of sunlight, Mad, Answering machine, King, This is the 21st century, When I meet God). However, 'Easter' is only included in this version. . .

A great live performance, a great recording, great music, great fans. . . this is one of those records you JUST HAVE TO HAVE. . .

Read no more, head on to marillion. com and get it.

REAL LIVE AND BEYOND - SO LIVE AND SO GOOD!
Its live counterpart doesn't go any differently. Anoraknophobia is truly and already, a masterpiece. Great playlist apart, there's something different about the sound itself! Turn up the volume and voilá. . . YOU ARE AT THE GIG. Never a live record sounded so live and so good at the same time! Mark at the liner notes tells how they did it (but is that all? :)). Some songs get better than in studio (a lot when Quartz is concerned, improvement is also clear in "if my heart. . . ", "separated out", "go", "king" and the afraid of sunlight sequence). The rest is at least as good as. The Steves are superb, H in great throat shape doesn't miss a note!!! R guitar exploring gets bolder to the extreme! Mosley and Pete set the engine in heavy motion, no one can stop! Mark colours it all gracefully contrasting with the edgy others! ONE OF THE BEST LIVE ALBUMS EVER, technically, musically and emotionally! Long Live Marillion!!!.

The album is awesome, but save yourself some money...
. . and get more music! Go to www. marillion. com and treat yourself to a DOUBLE album which will end up costing you less than this single album. How's that? ;).
