B is for Bob - don't Bother
Sadly, only three or four songs are "new" versions, with minor changes to the originals, Jamming and Small Axe. The family already loves Bob Marley so we were excited to hear some "reimaginings" of these songs. . .
Otherwise, the songs are the original versions we've heard on the original albums, perhaps with MINOR changes.
I'm not complaining because all Bob songs are wailing, but I was expecting new musicians and more kid-friendly versions, as advertised.
Tuff-Gong has done a good job at remarketing their only seller, the king, Bob Marley.
Just listen to his original work. .

Neither one of us got past the 2nd song before losing interest. I am a big bob marley fan and I like ziggy and the melody makers so I figured this is a no brainer for my son who is 6. I couldn't get into it. .


LOOOOVVVE B is for Bob!
The music really relaxes my little guy and it's not like a little kids CD that gets on your nerves one song in. My 4 month old and I are both in LOVE with B is for Bob! Actually, my husband is too for that matter! Great sounds, great messages. We listen to the CD on roadtrips because it's comforting for our son and yet. . . IT'S BOB MARLEY! I don't feel like I'm losing my mind in butterflies and rainbows and dancing ponies when we listen to this CD. I also allowed my 3-4 year old students listen to this CD as a treat. They absolutely love "Three Little Birds" and I catch them singing it to themselves throughout the day!.


I Heart Bob :)
I will always love Bob 4ever! The way they remixed the songs and added children singing is beautiful! It is just amazing how Bob has been gone for years now but the CD sounds like he just was in the studio making it yesterday. Love the Cd. I love everything about the CD but I do have 1 song choice that I would have preferred not be on the Children's album, "Wake up and Live" I do love this song a lot but I just don't like when he says "tomorrow you will be buried in a casket". Not fun to sing along with children but I understand how powerful this song is and meaning. . . . . The drums on Jammin' are incredible as always. IF YOU LIKE THIS ALBUM MAKE SURE TO GO OUT AND GET ZIGGY MARLEY FAMILY TIME CD! Love, Love, Love this CD!!!!!!! .

. We love this cd it gets played on repeat throughout the day in our classroom.
