The music itself is fabulous, paired with the lead singer's sultry voice, it's never a miss! Other songs on the full album are great too, check it out!. The 1st Maroon 5 single released state-side combines grit, rock, and pop, with an underlying theme that revenge is sweet ("Does it kill? Does it burn? Is it painful to learn that it's me that has all the control? Does it thrill? Does it sting when you feel what I bring, and you wish that you had me to hold?").
