Marx at his best
Rush Street is just like watching Jordan in his prime with the Bulls. Marx is simply in that class with Hasselhoff, Aiken and Tesh as one of the true great male vocalists out there. Everything about this album is so hard to fathom because no one was prepared for music this good. If Marx is Jordan, then "Hazard" is Jordan's 100 point game. Quite simply one of the four greatest songs ever created. Being from Nebraska, I can relate to the story. Things like this happen in Nebraska and you just want to leave town. Marx didn't do anything wrong and I think the media falsely convicted him.

If I stopped at Hazard this would be another great review written by me, but I'll chime in on a couple of other faves. "Superstar" is the perfect song for Dick Marx to sing. His hair would be a superstar on it's own, but when you look at the total package that is Marx, it's unreal. How scary is that album cover? I know! I also like Big Boy Now. It's a great story of Burns learning to ride a bicycle in the middle of a rainstorm. Burns is kind of scared at first, but his dad pushes him into traffic and says it's time to spread your wings. Burns' dad was about tough love, but that tough love made Burns what he is now. What is he? A big boy and the opposite of you, Mr. Average.


Marx is MISSED
"The other cuts are just as good. "Rush Steet"was Richard Marx last big hit CD,with the fantastic singles,"Hazard,"and "Children of the Night. I just wish this Artist was more appreciated,also alot of his songs have been HUGE hits for other singers over the years. I think were ready for a HUGE Richard Marx Comeback. .

I thought he had a good voice.
He is screaming and I can't keep it in the player. I put this CD on and his voice sounds terrible. Listen to his next CD, notice his voice is back in control.

Richard's voice breaks up too much for me.


If You Saw the Video for "Keep Coming Back to You..........."
It is an EXCELLENT ballad expressing emotions that obviously many of us, including Mr. I am familiar with a few songs on this CD, however, if you saw the woman in the video for "keep Coming Back to You," then you would be scrambling to get the song. Marx, have felt, and again I say, one look at the woman in the video, and you will have no problem seeing why he keeps coming back to her! And not to forget, bassist Nathan East delivers an outstanding effort in bottoming on this song.
