Wonderful

The opener is the well known "Waiting On The World To Change" and is the most non-acoustic song on the record, though you can hear the acoustic. It is great to be able to hear John Mayer play these acoustic/stripped down versions of some his song. Beginning with "Belief" the record becomes more special as it is John and the acoustic with wonderful versions of the songs. His vocals are well done and clear and he shows why he is such a good guitar player from the uptempo Belief, the quiet portions of Slow Dancing and the picking on Good Love.

Just a great collection of songs. The only down side is that there is 6 tracks on this. It would have been nice to hear more tracks on this record. Hopefully there will be more.

Could be "Mayer" of my village
Since there are "only" six tracks on this CD {all good} I would recommend shuffling with other John Mayer CD's. "Waiting on the world to change" a great song for 2008. .

Cherry on top
I love the vocal rhythm changes in "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" and the soft guitar in "Belief" I definitely think that this offers a cool, chill feel to John's music, and is a nice tag along with "Where the light is?". This is a great JM CD if you are already a fan and are looking for that extra acoustic take on some familiar songs.

JohnMayer
I could listed to John all day long. This is a great CD with original songs written and sung in a studio; they are the same songs on Continuum, but with a sassy percussion-type sound.

Good
when I first saw John Mayer perform in Eric Clapton's DVD Crossroads Guitar Festival didn't think I'll end up buying his CD's till I saw him again on the second Crossroads DVD 07 and one of the tracks he played was Belief a real catchy tune so been listening & buying his music since and Village Sessions is another good CD unfortunate only 6 tracks .
