They have captured a sound like no one else's. Edwin McCain is the freshest sound in a long time. And they aren't "too cool" to sing ballads. I very much enjoy listening to them and have made them one of the groups I would love to learn to play on my guitar.
Intriguing! Written from deep within the soul...
I fell in love with his music the minute I heard his single "I'll Be" and he has fascinated me since. I have just recently come to know Edwin McCain. Everyone I know either has the CD or is ready to get it the minute they hear it. I played it for a friend of mine and by the end of the night he was ready to run out and by it! Edwin McCain reaches deep within and writes purely from the heart. . . he takes his own views and experiences and eloquently transforms them into a heart-felt song. He also is blessed with the good fortune of having a few fantastic musicians to accompany him. They really help bring out the emotion and have proven to have no limits! I am ready for more!.
