Best of DM?
Along with "One of the Fortunate Few", these are my favorite DM CDs. Delbert McClinton is one of my all time/all mood favorites. Whether with funky beats or yearning love songs, his music invariably strikes straight into my body to get me moving. The harmonica and piano arrangements are a particular delight. When you've had enough hard rocking, "Have a Little Faith in Me" "Miss You Fever" and "I Want to Love You" are great for those slower moods. .


Two 4-star albums minus one star for bogus packaging
One might assume (I know I did) that this is a reissued set - repackaged, remastered, maybe even with bonus tracks like Raven's great 2-for-1 CD's (e. You'll get two very solid Delbert McClinton albums for a good price here, but my beef is with the packaging. g. The Delbert and Glen Sessions).

Well, such is not the case. This package is just two old CD's shrink-wrapped together. The albums - I'm with You (1990) and Never Been Rocked Enough (1992) - are also sold separately. If you don't already own either one, you'll save a couple bucks - but get nothing extra. It's just another example of Curb Records' sloppy, cavalier marketing.
