Customer Reviews Whatever happened to Metallica? They used to be a great band, this is not one of their best ep's by any stretch of the imagination. They went pop is what happened! The more they played for the radio and not for their longtime fans, the more of the original Metallica was lost. If you liked the first 4 albums, don't bother with this. If you like their recent stuff have at it. They've slowed down in their old age and this was the omen of things to come. Great song! Of course, there is that group that doesn't like their newer stuff. What can I say? I love Metallica and they didn't disappoint. They might not like this, as IT'S THEIR NEWER STUFF. . . Now, while I say this is great, I don't listen to it that much at all because I don't like to put a single in my CD case, plus I like to put a CD in and listen for a while, not just a couple songs. Of course, I did buy it knowing that it was a single, so I can't complain about that (wait. . . I just did). If you're a Metallica fan, I recommend it. It's Metallica!
