not the same without danzig
. the misfits(minus danzig) cover some rather sappy songs from the 1950's, but because these are just covers i let the singer slide, he's no danzig, but he sure does try.

Blast from the past
It is a total blast from the past, with an edgy punk rock sound that only the Misfits can deliver. Let me start by saying this is a great CD. Jerry's vocals are not up to par with Glenn Danzig's, but he still delivers their trademark sound without abandon. The songs they chose are favorites of the era that everyone can bang their heads to. A must have for anyone who enjoys the Misfits brand of horrifyingly good punk rock. .

Terrible
I prefer the Danzig era Misfits, but actually enjoy the Michale Graves albums. First off, I am not a Danzig or nothing fan who hates everything besides for the original line up. I wish he would have stayed for this one, because it is just bad. It sounds like a bad joke and any minute it should get good.

This really surprised me because I am a fan of the original songs, I like the Misfits in most forms, and I am a sucker for a cover song. That being said, this was the only Misfits album I have deleted off my computer after I bought. I don't ever want to hear it again.

misfits make oldies cool

they blew me away having seen them at fiendfest 06. i will admit i would not have picked some of these songs to be remade, but the misfits rockem out anyway.
they will knock you out with volume and presence.
also watch the video that came with the cd, it rocks.
the only thing is there are not enough songs, they go by too quick.
but all in all its well worth the money. .

who needs danzig?
I much preffer Graves and the higher production values of that era. i'm just gunna start off by saying i don't particularly like the misfits with Danzig. that being said i saw this lineup of the misfits live about 2 or 3 years ago, craziest concert i have EVER been to. to anyone who thinks the misfits have lost their edge, i laugh at you. the song selection for this album is great, definently not typical misfits (but what is typical about the misfits?) the thing i realy loveabout this album is the drums, they rule! this album is fun, and the only thing i expect out of the misfits is fun and this album surely delivers on that.
