a classic
Those days vinyl ruled and this was an album that I always wanted to eventually have on CD for prosperity because they do not make music like this anymore. I first came across Mountain in my early twenties (yes I am 70's rock fun) and I was blown away by it.

Good hard rock.

I prefer "Climbing" and the original Leslie West "Mountain" but make no mistake, this is a very good album. Mountain's followup to "Climbing" rocked then and still rocks today.
The digital remastering is excellent.
A "must have" for Leslie West fans.

Classic
Had the album if that is any indication. An outstanding true classic that takes me back. . . .

Brought back memories
I listened to it when I was in my early 20's. I was so happy to get this CD. I won't say how long ago that was but it sure has brought back memories of that time period. I love it that I can go to Amazon and find all the music that I originally have on LP's. Thanks for the memories. .

classic rock album
These tracks are relatively subdued (but not dull) compared to the full on live sound that Mountain produce, particularly the fantastic Nantucket Sleighride that is featured on the live album The Road Goes Ever on. Great studio album that show cases the dual vocal styles of the raucous Leslie to the softer side of Felix. Mountain were'nt around all that long but all their albums are full of good honest rock music with a touch of class.
