leslie west is a great guitarist. mountain is one of the best american rock bands ever. the whole album is early hard rock blues at its finest. missisippi queen is a hard rock classic. the song theme from a imaginery western is awesome. the guitar solo and leslies famous guitar sound are evident. very cool music, from a legendary band. if you like this cd you check out his work with the blues bureau. his playing the blues is extratodinary.

If you love CREAM, BLACK SABBATH, ZEPPELIN, YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS. This is a must. . . . . . .

IT REALLY WAS GOOD TO LISTEN TO MOUNTAIN AFTER IT WAS REMASTERED, I HAVE ALL OF THEIR STUFF ON TAPES.

All rock classics! Great Listening!!. This album has the great vocals of Lesly West, lead singer of Mountain and many beutiful lyrics in songs such as Nantuket Sleighride, For Yasgur's Farm and Theme from an Imaginary Western.


NOT THE BEST OF MOUNTAIN
Even though it doesn't have Corky Laing. Great stuff for the casual fan, but if you only want to own one Mountain album-Buy Twin Peaks. It's got almost every song on this CD plus the devinitive 30+ minute version of Nantucket Sleighride and alot more.


THE FOUNDATION OF CLASSIC HARD ROCK HISTORY
Leslie West fires up his sonic howitzer with stacks of Sunn amplifiers. If you like Led Zepp, Cream, Black Sabbath, and the Who, your going to love this cd! It is essential for wall of guitar sound lovers. Felix Pappilardi leads the way through the musical firestorm with Corky Lang and Steve Knight in tow. Sure to make you deaf!.
