shameful limits on such previously wonderful wings
Watching them live would only reaffirm how technical and caring they were about their songs. if you have followed Mudvayne through their career, you would most likely remember the complexity of their music: the time signatures, syncopations, melodies and vocal arrangements. However, with this new album, it sounds like producers put chains on their limbs and gave them songbooks. The compexity is pretty much eliminated, save for a single track, IMN. That's a shame because some of my favorite work was from the intricate bass and drum lines in previous albums. The lyrics feel too commercial compared to the depth Chaz reached in prior albums, and that plastic feel really contaminates the whole album. It's a shame to see them go early, since this was one of my absolute favorite bands.

Good music, worthless Disc
BUt, the DUALDISC version is worthless. AS for the music, this isnt thier best work ,but there are a few good songs on here. THe DVD side works fine, but the CD side is picky as all heck as to what CD player it will work on. The DVD side isnt worth the extra money, and the CD side isnt worth the hassle, most of my friends who have THE DUALDISC version have the same problems. just buy the regular audio cd.

In what way is this nu metal?
they are pure metal with their own special twist. i do like a couple bands considered nu metal, ill admit that, but mudvayne ISNT nu metal. this cd is great i think i reviewed the regular version back when it was released, and i definitely recommend it to any metalhead.

simply awesome
It is simply awesome!!!!!. Forget all negitive things you have heard about this cd.

Just gets better and better!
You can say I'm a big Mudvayne fan. I bought this album a week after its release, I've already owned LD 50 and TEOATTC and seen them live twice before. . .
I listened to this album in my car driving home. While the first few songs sounded really great, the rest of them started sounding alike so I would only listen to the first half and repeat the tracks. Then I bought another 2 albums(Audioslaves new one and Becks new one) and gave this album a rest.
After a week or two I came back and listened to Lost and Found again with a fresh take on it. I'd say almost every song on here is now officially a "greatest hit" It takes some getting used to, but this album is dare I say it. . . they're best to date.
In my opinion, I felt strongly about

Determined (brutal)
Happy
IMN (heaviest track)
Fall into Sleep (almost radio friendly)
Rain. Sun. Gone (almost radio friendly)
TV Radio (punkiest sound)
All that You Are(talented song to me)

Congratulations to the band members and I'll be back to buy your next album!
