Gloomy and bleak, but that's a good thing
It's gloomy, bleak, loud, crushing, nasty, raw, and black. This is one of the better doom metal CDs out there. The musicianship is better than most death metal bands I've heard with a really dark, heavy guitar and cool riffs. But as with most death metal the vocals get old fast, even on an EP. The growling voice-from-hell gets on my nerves pretty quickly and don't worry about the lyrics because you can't understand a bloody word.
