Nickelback-The State "Leader of Men" is a great song. "The State" has some great work by Nickelback.
Hard rock and some great guitar work.
A Best Kept Secret
Finding out that they had 2 albums before it (this one, The State, and another titled Curb) was an amazing discovery. I, as I imagine many people, thought that Nickelback's first album was Silver Side Up. I didn't really know what to expect but I was pleasently surprised listening to this the first time. Though, if you listen to all of the bands work its easy to see how they have evolved over the years, this album is an interesting look at their earlier years and it includes a lot of great tracks. .
Nickelback: The State
CD arrived in a very timely fashion. CD was rockin.
CD arrived in excellent condition.
Rock music is dead.
Everything sounds the same - I don't know if these guys are trying to sound like everyone else, or if everyone else is trying to sound like them. I can't listen to mainstream rock anymore and these guys are to blame. Either way, it just makes me want to throw my radio out the window and learn to play music myself. Anyone with any musical aptitude can write and perform better than this drivel.
nickleback state of mind
This one is sort of like a bunch of racket. not as good as their "reason" cd. Gets better each time one listens to it.
