LOVE this song! So poignant and "real life. LOVE the lyrics. " Appreciate the heartfelt and ragged edged lead voice that says he's lived the lyrics. Especially love the LIVE version on All the Right Reasons and all the instrumental and vocal layering. Thank you for this song - it's one of the ones I keep punching to play . . . just one more time. It makes me smile and cry at the same time! And consider the journey of my life.
Photograph remembered
Any of us who in quiet moments take that trek back to days that were simpler in some ways and charged with the emotions of youth can relate to this song. This song is probably not for children. It is well thought and well written. The lead singer has a unique voice but it is not upleasant in any way.
Nickel haaaaack!
The "singer' cannot sing. Good grief, this song is just uncomprehensibly lame-o. His voice sounds like his larynx was cut open and each spurt of vocals sounds like a dying gasp. The melody also is terrible and the song annoys me to death almost. If I was handed this single it would be shards in moments. That is all.
