Back in Time
His style of "Over The Rainbow" is priceless. This CD is excellent, it took me back to a safer time and yes I fell asleep before it was over. If you want/need to relax than this is the one. Beautiful music for listening to or if you just want to be taken away to another time. He couldn't have given the CD a better title!

YEARS before Michael Bublé, there was "Schmillson in the Night"
My favorite line of his is in "It had to be you", when he says, ". If you're looking for "romantic classics with a twist", this is the album! It's a wonderful easy listen - great "background music" for a variety of activities. . . but with all your faults, it's you I adore; when you stand up, your hands touch the floor. It had to be you. . . ".

Had the cassette, needed the cd!
Great orchestration, it's a treat!. I had this on cassette years ago and mislaid it, am thoroughly enjoying the cd now.

Grateful Customer
I bought this cassette tape in the 70,s when it first came out. When I found this CD on Amazon, I was thrilled. I wore out the tape, as I was entranced by the fantastic combination of the full orchestra with Harry's voice and range. I still can't get enough of it. I decided this year to give out a few to some of my friends for Christmas. I hope they like it as much as I do.

Nilsson and Jenkins classic
The extraordinary pairing of Harry Nilsson and arranger Gordon Jenkins makes for a record that I still find amazing even after dozens of listens. I can't begin to say how much pleasure this album has given me over the years. Gordon Jenkins is a master arranger (mostly for Sinatra)and he created orchestrations that perfectly compliment Harry's voice (even the keys are just right). Harry was obviously inspired by what was going on behind him as his singing is virtuoso.
The remastering adds a bit of clarity in the vocals and the orchestra balance is an improvment over the original CD release.
This album is a timeless classic and if you love the tin pan alley / American songbook, then this is a disc for you.
