Customer Reviews This is the story of a girl... When I listened to "The Story of a Girl" the first time, I immediately fell in love with everything about it. Amazing single from a not so amazing band. The lyrics, the vocals, the tune, EVERYTHING. And then I got the album. Very disappointing. You're probably wondering why the single costs more than the CD? Well, it's simply because the single is possibly the only good track they ever have (or ever will have) produced. Nevertheless, I very highly recommend buying this. If you liked "The Madding Crowd"... Both the songs are live and excellent. And especially if you liked the songs "Bitter" and "Revolve", you will want this import. What I love is the difference in this version of "Bitter" and "The Madding Crowd" version. Jeremy Dean plays piano instead of organ. It has a different feel, which gives me two versions to love. Don't listen to the bad review below!!!!! You'll miss out!!! OK, I know Absolutely can get tiring after awile, especially since it's overplayed. . but the live songs (the studio versions are on The Madding Crowd) are spectacular!! Nine Days has a great album (even if you hate Absolutely you'll be missing out if you don't listen to the rest of the CD) you haven't heard anything until you've seen them live :). .
