Pride
But they have good lyrics, easy to sing-along with and flows easily. I listened to these and found that most songs are slow and not that great. I think it would be better to go on iTunes, Zune Marketplace, wherever, and just buy the song "Pride" from this CD. it's a great song.

But the lyrics are good, and the songs are good. This CD is the slowest NUFAN CD I've ever heard. The only song I don't really like is "Saddest Song". This is my favorite CDin my collection. It's been in my CD Player for over a month now, and it hasn't came out yet.

Not an album that will pump you up
I will have to say that aside from the cover of the Pogues' Fairytale of NY, it's usual pop punk fare of heartache and youthful angst and hope. This is a pretty mellow album that isn't nearly as energetic as their Leche Con Carne for an example; however, it's a good listen. This doesn't make it a "must have" album, unless you're of NUFAN.

Good melodic punk
It isn't a bad album, it's just different from their other stuff, being more about emotion than merely fast guitars. I am a fan of No Use and have 4 of their albums, and this is by far their most melodic. It does have some great tracks, such as 'Pride' and 'Six Degrees From Misty'. This was my first No Use album and I recommend it as a starter for other punk fans looking for a good new band. Not as good as their 'Live in a Dive' album however.

Some good sing-alongs but not a good album
It's a very simple record, quite fun to try and add an extra vocal harmonic to the slow songs or to wave your lighter in the air during the more "stadium rock" tracks. The only time I have enjoyed listening to this album is sitting doing something else and absent-mindedly singing along. It's sad that a band as technically sound as NUFAN can reduce to doing sub-emo pop-punk. I realise that their songs have always been lyrically emotional, but Tony Sly's slightly grating and deeper-than-your-average-popster singing voice really lifted their previous two albums above the masses. Unfortunately, somewhere in production, the treble has really been cranked up on "More Betterness" leaving a tinny, painfully trebly sound and Tony's voice has become high and whiney. The only songs which really hark back to NUFAN in their prime (Making Friends, if you ask me - Tony really couldn't sing on their albums before Leche Con Carne) are 6 Degrees From Misty and Life Sized Mirror.

NUFAN are a good band, but this just isn't a good album.
