Great Reissue Of Terrible Ted's Best Atlantic album The remastering is warm and crisp, and all of the songs are terrific. This is a great reissue of Ted Nugent's SPIRIT OF THE WILD, which was the best album he ever did for Atlantic Records. Ted's guitar playing here is a mix of 70s heavy metal and Southern rock. This album helped keep real rock 'n' roll alive in an era of grunge and teen pop. Moreover, Nugent's advocacy of capital punishment/life without parole for aggravated kidnapping, as well as his no drink/no drugs/no smoke lifestyle, is refreshing in this era of excessive overindulgence. Buy this CD anywhere you can.
Return To Form
Amazing guitar work, great tunes. A return to form. The last great recent cd. Better than Love Grenade and Crave man. 4 stars.
Outstanding
Anyone who engages in any aspect of the outdoors and appreciates the bond with nature will understand and appreciate the songs and lyrics from this CD. This CD an outstanding for the sportsman. The message that uncle Ted puts out is clear and motivates others to enjoy the spirit of the wild. .

Five Stars for Fred Bear Alone
Ted's guitar and vocals are very very good. This album is great. The album isn't as good as Cat Scratch Fever, but it's worth the 10 bucks just for Fred Bear. All the people who said this album was bad and the lyrics & guitar were laughable don't know what music is. They couldn't play a guitar if they tried (no-talent morons), otherwise they'd realize that Ted was one of the revolutionary guitarists of the 70's. Just listen to his solos and you know he's the real deal. All of his songs are interesting and innovative. This album's totally worth it.
