Not for the casual fan...
Continuing with the pattern they began with the release of their latest, Noel forges on with the experiment of having endless remixes to their songs. Noel is at it again and going strong. While a bit tedious, the remixes do add a new light the music that cannot be denied. "The Monstrous Bubble Mix" for example is a epic multi-part mix of "Falling Down" pulling it to a full length of twenty-two minutes. Incorporating the use sitars, birds and a child to complete a psychedelic experience that will probably scare off the casual listener; the mix does succeed in pushing the boundaries and showing that Oasis may just yet have a few tricks up their sleeves. "Those Swollen Hand Blues" however, is less experimental and can be said as more of the same. While the song itself is of typical Oasis, with great beat and energy, the song doesn't travel too far out of box (with the exception of vocals delivered through heavy effects similar to what is on the 'Dig' album. ) Overall, the single is a solid, strong release that should be picked up by true Oasis fanatics.
