I bitterly regret the inclusion of the unforgivably homophobic Horst Meisterfluscher's review and his apparent unnending ignorance. Check 'em out. This CD is good as is most of their stuff. Perfect in about any mix because nothing sounds like them, mellow and inticing. Great stuff. ocean blue fan on deserted island This is truly one of my favorite CDs of all time. If I were on a deserted island and could only have ten CDs, one of them would be Beneath The Rhythm and Sound. It is melodic, ethereal, and timeless. I will be listening to this CD when I'm an old woman. I love all their albums, but this one is probably my favorite. Emotions Ring is so good, it makes me want to cry. . Stylistic monotony never sounded so fab It mars an otherwise perfect record. I bitterly regret the inclusion of the unforgivably faggy ICE SKATING AT NIGHT. What differentiates The Ocean Blue from the usual buttload of sugarcrap powerpop is The OB's addiction to guitar-chord tension. That's what makes them fab: that guitar-chord tension.
