Have you got it wrong
The other revies though aren't giving credit where it's due. This is a very good try for the Offspring, who is an excellent 4th or 5th generation punk band. 80 Times is a song from one of the best So Cal punk bands ever- TSOL. Offspring made a pretty good attempt to cover it, but it's just not as good as the real thing. Definately worth buying though!.

Short, but good.
Their music is just amazing. "The Offspring" is my favorite band, ever. And they prove it once again with this 4-track single "Want you bad". I was browsing through a local music store today and I came across an "Offspring" cd that I didn't have. I have all of their albums, but none of their singles. I got "Want you bad" because it had 2 never-before-released tracks and an unavailable live track of "All I want". And as an extra, some copies of "Want you bad" have a tatoo of the flaming skull logo from "Conspiracy of one". It was nice having some songs that you can't get on any other cds instead of just remixes. "Want you bad" is my favorite track. Then would come "All I want", I like it better than the LP cut because it's live. "80 times" is pretty good, though not a favorite, and I was really pleased with "Autonomy", I like the rythym a lot.

This a definant buy for all "Offspring" fans, those of rock or punk may want to give it a try. If you were looking for "Want you bad" on the "American Pie 2" soundtrack, it isn't there, so if you want just that one song and not the whole "Conspiracy of one" cd than this is also for you.

I Like It
"Want You Bad" is a good song, but I didn't get the CD for the single, 'cause I have "Conspiracy of One". Well, it ain't all that much to review. I wanted to hear the other songs that came with it. "80 Times" is a good song, I think it refers to getting doped up a few too many times. I like the music, even has a little Middle Eastern riff, the kind that made them famous. The lyrics are a little wanting; they repeat the same verse both times. Oh well, they didn't write the song. "All I Want" live is nice, it's a little slower than the one on Ixnay, but still a good song. Also they played it a half-step lower on the guitar. "Autonomy" is my favorite song. I don't know why, there are like 4 verses in the whole song. But I like the main riff, and I like the musical part from around the middle to the end. All in all, this isn't a must-have. But it's got some music that Offspring uses from other artists. I swear, the Offspring are a punk band, but they can play anybody else's music just as well. They can play grunge ("Vultures"), pop ("Pretty Fly", "Original Prankster"), and punk-pop, like "Want You Bad" and "Million Miles Away".
