GREAT album!!!
ALL tracks are great! Seriously you should buy this album! "Not Enough" is my favorite!!!.

PERFECT IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD....
their sound was different, their sound was truly unquestionable. i've been a fan of OLP since clumsy. while their older style contains songs that a little "weird" (Stealing Babies, All My Friends), the style heard of Gravity is more accessible. . . more mainstream i guess you could say. while, many OLP fans say that this album is a turn for the worst, i say this is probably their best work to date. it's down to earth, it's beautiful, and it's true. all the emotions are felt, all the words are true, and all the songs have meaning. songs about love, heartbreak, and all the pain that everyone goes through are truly the backbone of this album. . . that's whats so great about this album. . . it's about what everyone and anyone has gone through in their lives. . . . everyone can relate. the album is probably the most depressing of any OLP album, but it is also beautiful. songs like Do You Like It and Not Enough really reach into your soul and just grab hold. While songs like All For You and Made of Steel are heavier, they still carry the melody and beauty of the rest of this album. This album, to me, is basically perfect. Powerful choruses, beautiful lyrics, and an excellent, beautful sound. It's really a shame that OLP isn't bigger than what they are. . . they truly are one of the greatest bands around right now. . . and this album definately proves it. .

WARNING
This one is about some purple haired girl who tastes good, probably like grape. The single "Somewhere out there" on this album is NOT the version Fievel sings in An American Tail.

Always will be close to me
Music is about creativity. I'm a big music fan in general, so it's hard for anything to be labeled 'bad' to me. Such genre stipulations and dichotomies don't exist to me. Duke Ellington said that there were only two types of music, good and bad; and that's the way it should be.

This album is very good, I think. It's rockier than older OLP stuff(although I like that just as much), and I also think more heartfelt.

This album will hold a very special place in my mind always, because of who introduced it to me, and when. It's one of those albums that belong in the 'Hall Of Fame' in my mind, just because of its association to that timeframe of my life.

Anyway, Innocent is a highly underrated song. I think it's the best one on the album--probably their best song ever, actually. It's got a good rock sound, with soulful singing, and beautiful lyrics. That's a good formula for me, generally, and it definitely works here. I highly recommend this album to anyone that misses the 90's rock scene(a la Toad The Wet Sprocket or Soul Asylum). .

Sometimes Change is Good
I love their sound, and it's partly what got me liking rock music. Well, this was another CD that was bought for my dad, but, again, I've now claimed it for my own. However, if you like classic OLP albums (like "Clumsy," which, I have to admit, I did not), this may seem a step in the wrong direction. However, it's helped to push them more into the mainstream, and Raine Maida's voice is certainly unique.

1. All For You- I've heard that this is more like their old stuff. Driving rock beat, rawer vocals, and a great track.

2. Do You Like It?- The verses are toned down quite a bit from the first song, but it has a good melody, and is a good song.

3. Somewhere Out There- Almost ballad-like for this band, but I love the song anyway, and the violins are a nice touch.

4. Innocent- Great song, got a lot of airplay, and probably one of the best on the album. Super catchy, and the choir sounds great.

5. Made of Steel- More great melodies in the chorus, and, again, very singable and catchy.

6. Not Enough- Probably my favorite song on the CD. The verses are quite mellow, but the chorus rocks, great melody, powerful, and the guitar solo is awesome!!!

7. Sell My Soul- Another toned down song, but Raine's voice sounds great, and it's an interesting arrangement.

8. Sorry- Another very catchy, singable song. Good lyrics, and is certainly more rock than some of the others.

9. Bring Back The Sun- Another of my favorites. It may be mellow, but the emotion is great, as is the ending. The vocals sound different towards the end, but I think it's a neat sound.

10. Story About a Girl- The verses may not be excellent in sound, but the chorus turns all that around. Has one of those "epic" sounds with the instruments, meaning the transition from verse/chorus is noticeable and sudden, and the sound changes. The drums bring the chorus in nicely. .
