I was raised on Old Country Music and this CD showcases two of the many Great Country stars. CD is great.

I checked
the reviews on this CD before I purchased it and that is always so helpful. I thoroughly enjoy listening to Porter and Dolly sing duets.
I have other CD's of theirs, but this one is my favorite. .

Wonderful harmony and lots of memories on this album.
This album has the best of the many songs they made together, and gives hints of the superstar Dolly would become. I was only about 7 when Dolly and Porter Wagoner were at the peak of their duet career, but I clearly remember hearing "If you go, I'll follow you" and
"Making Plans" on the radio. Her voice is clear and high, and complemented perfectly by Porter Wagoner's tenor.

Country music has evolved so much from those days, I'm happy to have this album to remind me that life was slower and simpler back then. .

Early Dolly
Porter Wagoner not at his best but Dolly was great. Great sample of Dolly when she started. Especially "Jeannie is afraid of the Dark".
