I love listening to him. if anyone knows Elvis then you know that all he ever sang before his concerts was nothing but Gospel Music.


Very moving!
When I first saw the title I thought "Oh boy, yet another Gospel release. While all of these songs have been previously released (several times), this collection tries to put a new twist on them. " While I love Elvis' Gospel recordings, they have been repackaged and released several times, but this collection includes not just Gospel songs, but also secular songs meant to inspire the listener with their message. I have always thought that Elvis' "If I Can Dream" was one of the most moving (and underrated) songs of the late 60's and it gives the collection a strong lead-off. While this collection pales in comparison to his (numerous) greatest hits collections, this is a very good CD and not a bad buy if you don't already own most of the songs on here.
