elvis christmas
Reminiscing
of what the king did for music was a complete thrill, I mean to be able to share these favorite tunes with family made it even more meaningful. this was a very pleasing item to hear. Thank-you!.

Excellent Elvis
Maybe not his best album but it does make the holidays so much better to hear Elvis belt out those classic tunes!.

The King of Christmas!
According to the packaging, this is the first time that the 1957 and the 1971 Christmas records are on one disc. Truly an amazing Christmas album from one of the greatest musicians ever.

This is kicked off perfectly with a very Elvis-esque Santa Claus is Back in Town, which sets the tone quite nicely. Here Comes Santa Claus has a nice subtlely to it, and is a cute song. Who could forget Blue Christmas, another Elvis standard. The first part of this disc covering that 1957 album is in tip top form!

In the Early 70s, as Elvis was still "The King", his sound and his voice is at an amazing peak that started in the early 60s and did not stop as the early 70s came along.
The second portion of the album, from 1971 and starting with "O Come, All Ye Faithful" does is hit all the perfect holiday notes, nothing to over the top, while allowing us to accept a down-and-dirty blues tune (Merry Christmas, Baby - zany but really works!) as well as one of the best Christmas tunes that should make everyone's playlist - The Wonderful World of Christmas. Perfect vocals, along with some amazing backing vocals to close the song out like none other.
Winter Wonderland is great, with some amazing bass work and an ending that is a typical "King" touch. Other greats are: Holly Leaves and Christmas Trees, The First Noel and On A Snowy Christmas Night. The perfect Elvis Christmas album - both classics in one place.
.

songs remain timeless
A must for everyone who likes
traditional and up beat Chrismas songs. Known as the King of Rock and Roll,Elvis surely showed his musical talent
in preforming these great Christmas ballads.
