New York City ain't got nothin' at all
The songs are even in the exact same order. This is a track by track cover album by The Queers of the classic Ramones album. The songs are played well enough, but the question is why listen to this instead of the Ramones original? The arrangements are not much different from the original versions, so not much new is added. The most notable change is a different vocal arrangement on "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker". It's hard to say who this might appeal to.


Bought it the other day
Need I say any more? Well, ok. The Queers doing the Ramones. It was great.


The Queers covering The Ramones, there's a shocker
Same track order, same songs, just by The Queers and not The Ramones. This is The Queers covering The Ramones entire Rocket To Russia album. Might sound like a good idea to some, but why you just wouldn't listen to the originals is beyond me. Of course The Queers have a certain indebtedness to "Da Bruddas," so covering them isn't a surprise. And they weren't the only band to do it. Screeching Weasel covered The Ramones, The Vindictives did Leave Home, and. . . well there were others too, but you get the idea. Like the Queers? Wanna hear em sing the best Ramones album, in its entirety? Go for it!.
