You know you like it when the music's loud The songs are even in the exact same order. This is a track by track cover album by The Queers of the classic Ramones album. The songs are played well enough, but the question is why listen to this instead of the Ramones original? The arrangements are not much different from the original versions, so not much new is added. The most notable change is a different vocal arrangement on "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker". It's hard to say who this might appeal to.
Must Have
" Generally excepted as the second greatest Ramones record, the Queers offer up a great rendition of this classic album which is the third installment of the series. This is a rare and unique album of the Queers covering one of
the greatest Ramones records in it's entirety "Rocket to Russia. Screeching Weasel did the Ramones first record, The Vindictives covered "Leave Home," now listen to the Queers take the Rocket to Russia. A must have for any pop punk fan.
its ok
most of the songs are catchy and poppy. whatever, its classic queers. Obviously if you like the ramones you should like this album cause its just a bunch of covers with one original. personally i like their original stuff better, but its a quality cd with some good tracks. my favs are "sheena is a punk rocker" and "do ya wanna dance". if you like the ramones and the queers than you'll love this cd!.
