Awful singing.
The music is just okay, and the singing is awful!!! I am very disappointed! When there is no singing and the band gets into jamming, then the sound is okay. I love Quicksilver Messenger Service, so I ordered this. This cd is not worth the price!! Avoid at all costs!.

Utter Rubbish
Avoid at all costs. . this is the worst yet to be traded under the QMS moniker, essentially its the then current version of Jefferson Starship with Gary Duncan tacked on. This disc fails on almost every level, the performances are haphazard & poor, Duncan's guitar sound is insipid and in the wrong key for most of it, plus his in between stage banter is just plain embarrassing& he really can't sing. Somebody tell him to shut up & someone tell me why oh why is he taking so many of David Freiberg's lead vocals when the real thing was standing next to him. Freiberg still has his pipes intact though I am dissapointed that he did not play bass, Bobby Vega is listed in that position but it does not sound like him and some other guy is on the cd cover. . Prairie Prince does a vain job in trying to hold it all together but basically its a bunch of under rehearsed & over medicated geezer's murdering the fine fine back catalogue of Quicksilver. Post production is bad too, no effort was made to actually mix these tracks and you get a very raw unbalanced board recording, Edward the Mad shirt Grinder is listed but fails to appear instead you get two versions of What About Me. . . . . What about my refund more like. . . .

on the flip side the 'new' song Steve MCQueen is actually quite good. apart from that. . . . . .

VERY DISAPPOINTING .
