hey ho (yawn)
i know it's uncool to trash the ramones, but having 10,000+ songs ranging from jazz, rock, pop, dance, hiphop, folk, indie, and more, this moronic, puerile stuff leaves me cold. i guess i just don't do punk. i disliked it in 1979 and it hasn't improved on sampling their 'greatest hits' today. i'm not prone to neg reviews but just had to burst the 5-star bubble. if this is your bag you'll know within the first 10 secs because it's all the same.


Excellent Tunes
He is playing it constantly. Excellent tunes - but found my five year old son and his buddies likes this CD better than I do.


''Hey! Ho! Lets Go!''
The band combined a raw punk rock sound with their own brand of energy and enthusiasm. With this CD, you have all of the Ramones' best songs (Beat on the brat, Blitzkrieg bop, I wannna be sedated) in one place. The lyrics are original often cynical (see Judy is a punk and Beat on the brat. ) While listening to this album, I realized what a great bassist the late Dee Dee Ramone was (R. I. P. man. )
This compliation also has the hit ''Pet Sematary'' that was written for the Stephen King movie and wasn't included on any of their studio albums.
So what are you waiting for? Buy it already!.


"Rock n' Roll Radio"
If you like the Ramones, and don't have much of their music on hand( as in my case), this is the one to purchase!Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius/XM, has rekindled my interest in them! Very satisfied with the purchase.


A First Class "Greatest Hits" Album CD by "New York's Finest - The Ramones" = Excellent Punk Rock Period!!!!!
It contains 20 great songs. This is a first class "greatest hits" cd by the Ramones. Some of the Highlights I liked include: "Blitzkrieg Bop", "Beat on the Brat (with a baseball bat)", "Sheena is a Punk Rocker", "Rockaway Beach" (which is a real beach in New York), THE CLASSIC - "I WANT TO BE SEDATED", and the "KKK Took My Baby Away". This greatest hits CD would make a great addition to any Rock & Roll Music collection, and therefore, I recommend it. Afterall, the Ramones are inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. They have this "huge" guitar on display there that has the Ramones "Logo" on it. Thanks!!!!!.
